The cottage sites have panoramic views and are close to the water, and are very idyllically located on the western edge of Lake Nisser. The lake is one of Norway's largest, with crystal clear water, islets and reefs, and long, white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, boating and fishing. In winter there are groomed ski slopes nearby, and in summer there are great hiking opportunities in the surrounding mountain terrain.

It is good to be in Nissedal in both autumn, winter, spring and summer. Everything is available here for mountain biking, skiing and other activities, such as hunting and fishing. The clean-cut mountains around Nisser invite you to climb and abseil. The famous potholes, which are a water park created by nature itself, are only a short drive away. It is also a short distance to Gautefall and Vrådal Alpinsenter, as well as to Kyrkjebygdheia and Fjone Høgfjell with groomed trails in beautiful mountain terrain.

Nissedal municipality is centrally located in southern Norway, with good road connections to both Eastern Norway, Southern Norway and Western Norway. It is a short distance to the airports Torp in Sandefjord and Kjevik in Kristiansand, as well as to the ferry ports in Sandefjord, Larvik and Kristiansand.

From Vestfold and the Grenland area, you first drive to Drangedal and continue on RV 38 to Bostrak, where you turn left onto RV 358 over Gautefallheia. When you get to the center of Treungen, follow the signs for Fjone, approx. 7 km.

From the Agder counties you drive to Åmli and continue on RV 41 to Treungen. Just before the beautiful stone bridge, turn left and follow the signs for Fjone, approx. 7 km.
